Distorted Desire

This head is about desire that gets out of hand.
About that feeling of wanting something so badly that it just becomes... ugly.
Big, bloated, heavy, uncomfortable.
It's no longer in your body, it is your body.

The lips are far too present. Everything is drawn to that one point of desire.
The face swells. The eyes are closed, as if it only feels and sees nothing.

Distorted Desire is for me what happens when you no longer try to understand or control desire.
When you let it grow until it becomes almost ridiculous. Grotesque. But real.

I made this because I recognize it myself. That greed. That unbridledness.
And also the discomfort that comes with it.
This is raw.
And honest.
