Fallen Ego

This head is about the moment your ego gives up.
Not out of weakness, but because it is simply no longer sustainable.
That point at which your façade cracks. Where your pride no longer works.
And you can do nothing but just… be.

The look is still stubborn, but there is something in it that gives in.
A kind of wounded pride, or what is left of it.

I made this when I felt that I had to let go of something that I had been holding on to for a long time.
Just… soft.
And also painful.

This work is not about losing. It is about admitting that you also exist without your ego.
Maybe even more.
