Fragmented Silence

This head is stuck in a moment.
As if something had been set in motion, but stopped along the way.
Not because it didn't want to, but because it had to hang there for a moment.
In the silence. In the not-knowing.

Fragmented Silence is about that in-between space.
Where things haven't been said yet. Where change announces itself, but still lives beneath the surface.
You can see it in the posture — as if the head is trying to understand itself.
Dented, closed, almost withdrawn into itself.

I made this in a phase in which a lot was moving, but nothing was clear yet.
The result is a kind of pause image.
One that doesn't scream, but does hold something.
